Hadn't thought about that before Geoff, but you are probably right...The large majority of Libs are teachers and/or professors...and nearly all with a left leaning/falling over left bent. Many of them are unionized, which is an "entitlement" group. From what I've seen, the military does have the best training around, and most kids come out of that training as young people with their feet planted on the ground soundly. Don't know if I'd say it was a conservative bent, but most assuredly, it is an educated bent as to the foundations of this country. How many unionized teachers can say that same thing and be truthful??? Not many, or sure. I'm convinced that one of the reasons that liberals hate the military so much is because it has one of the very best training programs around. I'm sure that it irks them to no end that most come out of the military with a conservative bent.
