"There were no rapes commanded by god in any of the passages you quoted.</>" God was behind ALL the butchery and RAPE in the bible. Scripture makes that oh so CLEAR. God was guiding HIS people. When they made mistakes, HE punished them. When HE made mistakes he murdered babies with flood waters. Apparently, the butchery genocides and rapes were not mistakes because nobody was punished. Moses was not the Commander in Chief. GOD WAS!! You can squirm all you want but a fact is a fact!!! :-)

"Just because you use that method to find a wife does not mean anyone did that in the bible." I wasn't there. It had nothing to do with me. Scripture says they put their penis in to see if they wanted to keep her. I guess we all do that but modern society allows a woman to say "NO". You can't just decimate a group of people with your sword--butchering entire families while keeping children (virgins) to test with your penis. These days the test must be voluntary...
