Chicken stock - that's not something I've ever done, but I boiled some chicken for another dish last night (getting it ready for tday company) and am taking a shot at it. that's 'really' serious soup making, I reckon. :) time I tried it.

I did use some leftover chicken last night and did a quick chicken rice soup. also a first and... I learned that I should follow the recipe on the amt of rice, no matter how puny it looks cause it does turn out to be a lot more and sucks up the broth. mine turned out very rice. and a lil mushy - also fix when ready to serve it. it was tasty tho. worth practicing on it.

The flavors are so darned good, and it doesn't take very much (of that calorie laden) salad dressing. Just a smidgen to moisten the greens.
