My Father was very involved in supplying troops during WW11 and the Korean War, so I have a real appreciation and deep respect for our Military.

I started this book about two months ago and leave it up at the cabin for the times I go there and have time to read. It is just full of precise information and delves deeply into the minor and major machinations and preparations behind each battle during the Korean War. Sometimes I get a little lost when the author starts talking about weaponry and strategy, and I have to re-read some passages, but over all it is very understandable and well written. It brings real events to life and is helping me better understand that conflict.

The stories of heroism and courage are just incredible.

I'd highly recommend it, and I think I'm going to bring it back home the next time I go up because it really is time to finish it.
