The tech industry reliably decreases costs every year, while offering more value for the buck. EVERY truly competitive, market oriented industry brings costs down and increases benefits over time.

What an ignorant statement.

The cost legal services goes up. The cost of accounting services goes up. Almost all professional services, up.

Technology has been cited for years as one of few industries in which costs generally decrease over time. This occurs in an area in which software development builds on prior iterations and that which is subject to chip and materials manufacture. This is not typical.

Hamburgers cost more at McDonalds. Lawyers fees are higher than ever. Gas costs more. Your CPA tax preparation every year cost more. Pretty much everything.

In technology, you're stamping out thousands or millions of identical items which causes costs to drop. In the medical field, every case is different.

It is ignorant or naive to jump to conclusions that just because technology costs go down every year that ALL fields have the same cost structure. They obviously don't, and few other industries have that nice benefit.
