Mindmeld, Powell believes in universal health care and probably thinks that's a higher priority than coming to any decision on Afghanistan and Pakistan. That's why he was fine with Obama "taking his time." The reality is, of course, that Obamacare has little to do with the war on terrorism nor does it have anything to do with economic recovery. Instead, it's just a long-standing agenda of the Democrats, who had to wait since HillaryCare died before they got another opportunity with this huge expansion of entitlements. As for Powell, he is anything but a conservative now. Liberals would love to see the GOP follow in his footsteps, for that would mean the end of the GOP as we know it. Tenchusatsu
