I am an eagle. And my chickens think they are---I've been clipping a lot of wings lately as they soar out of a 5-6 foot high enclosed pen. I wonder how often God has to clip our wings. Re. JW's in heaven along with the Baptists---if your arithmetic is correct, I feel sorry for the Baptists. Re. Jesus' "looks." Don't get too "uptight" over how he looks. Believe me, he will look sensational---however, the whole point I was making was, I believe God's Triune counsel arranged a "toned-down" look, so he wouldn't appeal to the masculinity and sensual side of humankind---drawn to Christ by the wooing of the Holy Spirit---all for the right reasons! Re. bowing and praising God 24 hours a day---hmmmmmm how do they measure a 24 hour day in heaven? Re. all of your posts. I give you an A on all of them. They are a)refreshing b) candid c) full of great tidbits from time to time d) reveal a "becoming" attitude (and I believe we are all "becomers" since we are "being made" into the image of Christ. JANE, NO!!!! Let me ask you this, would of it made a difference? Could you then say it was because I was a JW. No, I am nothing more then a fundamentalist in its truest form, SPEC. reader. We take the Bible literally as it is written. We don't plug in or justify or revise what it says. If it says us that is the way we see it. And when God tell Jesus don't do it. That is the way we see it. We don't do a whole lot of jumping up and down & a whole lot of hocus pocus and this and that. We take are GOD and Jesus very seriously. We also know that he is not God and God is not him in the physical sense. We also know that the flood wasn't 40 days or nights and it rained for several months. Have you been taught that? If not then your church hasn't been honest and teaching the word of God let alone Jesus. Ron
