ACORN says US funding cut was unconstitutional
Nov 12 12:06 PM US/Eastern

NEW YORK (AP) - ACORN has filed a lawsuit claiming that Congress violated the Constitution when it passed a law cutting off federal funding to the organization.

The Center for Constitutional Rights filed the lawsuit on ACORN's behalf Thursday in Brooklyn federal court. It claims the law was unconstitutional because it punitively targeted an individual organization.

Messages for comment left at the White House and the federal agencies named in the suit were not immediately returned.

ACORN, short for the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, portrays itself as an advocate for the poor and minorities.

The group's CEO, Bertha Lewis, says she underestimated the impact of the Congressional action. She says state, local and most private funds have been cut off as well.

...massive, intractable debt that almost certainly is leading to a massive decline over the next couple of decades.

This is the problem.

This is the problem in this post...in the last post obama could not take any credit for the 3.5% growth this quarter but he was the cause of the 10% unemployment. So in a short time in office he caused all the bad things but couldn't possibly have any role in the good ones. It's kind of like you in a way...ridiculous but expecting to be taken seriously.
