Inode, I don't think it's skin color motivating Powell. I think he's simply disillusioned by his former superiors in the Bush administration and wants to give "Change you can believe in" a shot. Ten I don't know what's in his heart. But he is blind to Obama's radicalism and that is so contrary to what we have known about Powell that I believe it can't be anything other than racially motivated. I had the highest respect for Powell (although the way he caved near the end of his 4 years as SecState was nothing short of amazing). But for this man to support Obama in the election can only be a result of something visceral such as race; it certainly isn't support by logical analysis.
