As long as they talk to each other. Maybe it is my left-handedness, but I have the capacity at most times to step out of things and tell them as a story... so when I talk of living on the streets in the tenderloin of SF, or other difficult times... but that is not anywhere on par with combat. not saying it's easy, and I saw and went through some 'stuff' on the streets, but...

my father connected with that moving man, and I did realize he sent me away to tell him the story of the rifle, and he was comfortable (enough) with that... and that sometimes maybe they are protecting us from the horror and maybe what they did, even if we would understand.

but I respect that. sometimes I think we blab a lil too much these days. It might seem like I reveal a lot, people think that... but it is just a gloss of things tossed in as a 'character'. what was it really like on the streets? that I've never talked with anyone about, not anyone who wasn't there also.

so I just make sure there is a proper place for dad to hang the sword. and I keep it cleaned. and partly with you in mind, I will check out soon how to do a burial with vet honors. I want the flag for him. and it folded after and presented to his eldest daughter, who it would mean the most to.

thank you, Marine man.
