and had he walked into a perfect economy the Ds were going to spend that money. Period. "Never waste a good crisis". They would have created one if they couldn't claim they "inherited" one.

Ah, the "perfect economy"...if only the dems had inherited the perfect economy. I have fantasies too...but these cows don't fly.
