Yes, the whole thing has been ongoing since the early days of Metallica. Greenpeace is involved, which gives you an idea of the level of discourse. The fact that the mine is ISO 140001 compliant was/is good enough for me (and should be for the hundreds of CSP residents who've been provided livelihoods through CSP/NGD).
