eeek, I think that's what the white line meant. not sure. she wrote it for the Burrito Brothers guy and he was big into driving... so could just be the white line on the highway?

and I'm old, that's who. heck, I felt that way at 32. you are a youngster. :)

you do realize when she sang "down that lost highway" I was ready to go off to a Hank song? I love how country tunes have this ongoing linkage of story/lyrics... the highway goes on forever in country writing.
