Thank you.. And the same goes for Iraq and Afghanistan. When the sovereign government requests we depart, we should.

Of course, in the case of Iraq and Afghanistan, and the fact that were required to replace that government, we have some say in what kind of government we leave behind (ie: democratic states).

Their elected status grants them more legitimacy in requesting our departure.
