Here's the pablum. They raised the price of Intel 2 1/2 bucks on the open. There was virtually no demand for the stock at that price and it fell for the rest of the day. I see that as "cheating the retail customers"

It could just as well happened in the opposite direction. It doesn't matter the direction idiot, its the intent of the market makers to cheat the retail customer by incorrectly fixing the opening price.

They took the 2 1/2 bucks and sold their inventory on the way down and put the money in their pockets.
