Let's start with the obvious. This is NOT a "bill of attainder" as ACORN's stupid lawyers contend. Congress has full discretion to terminate funding to the group via a simple vote. There's no requirement for a trial or whatever, unless ACORN thinks their funding is constitutionally guaranteed.

Hence, ACORN is paying lawyers to rewrite the Constitution.
