If one think a slightly longer term about worldwide population growth at more than 1% exponentially one would never make that kind of statement. It means the miners have to increase supply of 1% exponentially just to keep up the population growth.

If we take a 10 year view we will find out that it is an impossible task. The same applies to many commodities.

Howy - the Dow:gold ratio is what Pierre Lassonde discussed with Eric King. He's looking for a 1:1 ratio as well.
