Speaking of Datek...

I am just now in the process of closing my Datek account. You can only trade on margin or cash...no options trading. They have, in my experience, very good accessibility, speedy trades and low commission. But the best part is the intraday charting. The delay seems like it's only a couple of minutes. If all you want to to is move blocks of stock, then they are very good. I have foung that the quotes they provide are much faster than Tradefast or Yahoo.

Dennis, <regarding DATEK>
In case you haven't found out, there is a very active DATEK thread on SI:
Subject 5957

Pros and cons and DATEK brokers are freely exchanging their opinions on this thread. Too many little things for me to mention here. I use them as a secondary broker. I have three accounts with Waterhouse, a more established broker with $12 online trade and far superior overall service.
