Oh bummer! While in the dentist's office I happened upon an article in consumer's report about the upcoming reverse mortgage mess. Did you know all reverse mortgages are guaranteed by the taxpayers through the federal government? Seems this guarantee is also leading lending institutions to again lend money indiscreetly to anyone and they don't seem to care that many of the properties are now worth less than their reverse mortgages. Keep those presses going if money becomes worth less and less maybe, just maybe the government can turn those falling real estate values around. If not it may not matter anyway. the hopeless comrade chartseer
