< It's not just my opinion, it's factually verifiable. >

you're worrying about "begging a question"? That's your focus now?

< The question of abortion centers on whether the fetus is a distinct Human being or is like a fingernail>

Well, since you're NOT against all abortions, you must have a good idea as to your version of a distinction... although your use of "fingernail" is again just more emtional sensationalism you wacko's seem to like to use to whip up hate & dispense with facts and discourse.

<If it is the case that the ONLY person involved in an abortion is the mother, and the fetus is not a human being, then no justification for an abortion is needed>

In your black and white world. Using your logic the toddler can now be beaten and forced into 'child labour' whenever parents want. Of course real life is more messy than that.

Hence we see the great difficulty in front of the court during Roe v Wade.... I haven't read the decision... but it sounds like they REALLY gave it deep thought. Not that perhaps it couldn't be changed or tweaked... but given the boisterous wild eyed WACKOS in the US today, it's probably not likely cause those of the calmer side of life are afraid to let the wacko's try to change ANYTHING given their rhetoric.

Too bad.

<If on the other hand there are TWO individual Human beings involved and one of them is killing or having the other killed, then there can be virtually no justification ever given for abortion.>

Yes, it's easier to have a hero and villian like gradeschoolers playing cops and robbers. Real life is messy, and unfortnately one side is grown up, the other seem immature children.

I may be selling gradeschoolers short here... even a grade schooler can see babies are part of their mothers, but they aren't.
