Mindmeld, you're believing the myths that the Democrats are telling you. Nothing in PelosiCare is going to reduce costs. Instead, they just shift them around and promise more entitlements for their constituents. That's a sure-fire way to increase costs.

Aren't you repeating the same myths promulgated by Sean Hannity and crew?

So many myths promoted by the GOP have been disproved on this thread? That suggests how strong your ideology is.

Ideology does not equal truth.

I don't think the Dems are perfect and I'm skeptical of much of what is happening in Congress today. However, the biggest step I've taken is coming to the understanding that the current manifestation of the GOP is very badly broken and their governance over the last 8 years has been a terrible blow to this country. Therefore, I refused to reward failure and will continue to do so.

If the Dems don't start delivering on the one key promise I voted for, which is substantive movement towards energy independence, then I will vote against the Dems in the Congressional elections next Nov. Obama has already used the EPA and other tools like the stimulus and his stance across the world to move us in that direction to the limits of his power as President. The rest is up to Congress and so far they are failing to deliver. I know the GOP is boycotting the renewable energy meetings and that is making it difficult for the Dems to get a quorum to move forward, but at the end of the day I want results in this area. It is the key thing I voted for, which I knew the GOP is ideologically against.
