that video has been making the rounds, and my comment is that,

"yes, fiat money is great, especially when applied to kick start and reenergizing a developing and urbanizing economy where lots of people need bigger and better space to live and work in. those empty buildings, just like pudong of shanghai, will be occupied, and the underlying economy, based on coal and coal chemistry, will do its thing,

the fact that no combination of private developers has the wherewithal to do the initially necessary act, the officialdom must step in, and then, let go.

as had happened across china time and again for more than a quarter century."

let us watch n brief.

building that still empty city, qualitatively speaking, is far better than trying to conquer afghanistan ;0)

They hogged but learnt fast to spread: Six years ago is avery long time in today's speed.

Now they are all over Africa trying to put make money out fo their home market.

One problem remains: "...land auctions are a major source of fiscal income in China, part of the plan’s allure was the prospect of elevating the value of property in an undeveloped area."
