I don't think 17% makes Novell a majority shareholder. To answer your question, you would have to know the makeup of the board, and how many are Cowpland's buddies, etc., which I do not. Ultimately, the board is supposed to look out for shareholder's interests and dump Cowpatty if he is not doing that. So far, I think it would be hard to prove that he is not, as incompetent as management seems sometimes, when it comes to publicizing products and managing sales.
