She quit because the press wouldn't let up. At that point she knew she had to pass the baton for the sake of Alaska.

Now if we could just get Congress to quit. Not to mention some higher ups.

...for no other reason than she was tired of the job and saw big bucks waiting beyond.

If folks like Nicolle Wallace and Schmidt don't feel the need to muzzle themselves this book could turn out to be the final chapter for this woman.
