This is baloney ..... liberal self-congratulation. First, define yourselves as "creative and intelligent" then declare where you live as special.

Those states don't create their own industries like MN, WA State, OR, CA, NC ...

Baloney? Let's go through a list of new industries developed in the last ten years: AMZN, AMGN, FFIV, GOOG, CSCO, ORCL, COST,......hell most of the silicon valley......most of Boston's famed route 128. Even Austin has its share of successes like Whole Foods.

Whoops you included a bad southern state in there.

The more hi tech NC becomes the less southern it is. I believe that's why Obama won the state in 2008. And its not just industry.......NC is one of the more creative states when it comes to improving education. In fact, its becoming a model of what to do right in education.

But in fact industries and businesses do get started in places other than liberal dominated states.

Of course, but I am talking major growth industries, requring creative, educated types to make happen.

Most of the west coasts high tech industries started as defense department projects, you know. Obama will make sure that doesn't happen anymore for a long time.

And those states are living on past glories now unlikely to be repeated. Liberals have been dragging down CA's economy, education sytem for decades.

Brumar, you are deluding yourself.
