The fact that Hassan's lecture has not been the centerpiece of the whole post-massacre debate is a true example of how impoverished are the "experts," journalists, and politicians at dealing with these issues I haven't read this article prior to posting my remark... It discusses the same thing, but in a far more detailed and elaborate way. We were dragged in into a religious war during a period in our history when many of us - and most of our leaders - cannot even comprehend what the concept means. Message 26099429
