Trying to establish a "bottom" for this one...

I have used three numbers. Price-to-Sales Ratio, Price-to-Earnings ratio and Price-to-Cashflow ratio.

Based on a price of 28 1/2, the three ratios were 5.58, 23.9 and 23 respectively. The all-time lows for these ratios for ASND are 3.4, 22 and 14.2 respectively.

So, on this basis, the bottom for this stock should be at 17.4, 26.2 and 17.6 respectively.

You take your pick. I would take the lowest. That is, ASND will be attractive to me only if it trades at (or below) 17.4

(I know my "guru" will disagree with this, having bought it at 54, but then our styles parted company some years ago...)

Dipy.

Dennis,

Thanks for your post. I've not checked on VVUS but, as I had mentioned in the past, I do have too many shares of HVSF. The way I figure it, one erectile dysfunction stock is enough for my portfolio.

Thanks Dennis...I checked out the link and I totally got swamped that day and forgot to reply. I never heard of VVUS, so I really can't form an opinion on it. Sorry!
