Of course its not the perfect democracy......the US, Russia and China set it up so that they would have more power than the rest of the nations.

LOL. "Not a perfect democracy"???? Uh, yeah.

The US has no power. That's why nothing gets done there. It is a fat bureaucracy in which we pay half the cost to have the rest of the world (which we're also subsidizing) tell us how bad we are. We've got the same old appeasement from the EU3 as we've always had. We've got the Middle East pissed. We've got Russia and China willing to hand nukes to DPRK and Iran to support their own financial interests. Countries with legitimate interests have no role (e.g., Japan). And the NAM is all over the place.

But its the only world forum we have at the present moment and it would be a huge mistake to give it up.

You tell me WTF it is good for. If you want to blow up a building in NYC I'll tell you which one wouldn't be missed (just don't hit the kid's basketball courts due South of the UN Building; kids actually get some use out of them).

It is pathetic. WHY ARE WE PAYING FOR THIS HORSESHIT?
