Boxing has been on a self destructive path for a long time now. I don't blame you for losing interest. Pacquiao is something else entirely. Pacquiao took Cotto apart in a fight I would never have thought was 3-1 in Pacquiao's favor. The odds turned out to be right, but before the fight Cotto's resume suggested otherwise.
Pacquiao is going about his ring business in an historic, unprecedented manner. He comes to fight and to knock out the other fighter which makes for very exciting fights.

I enjoy The Ultimate Fighter show because I get to know the fighters, however, I find the fights themselves mostly uninteresting. I like when they stand up and box and think that makes for the best fights. Every now and again I get on the edge of my seat watching a fight. There was one fight between Roger Huerta and Clay Guida that I thought was a classic but those fights for me are few and far between. I wish Kimbo Slice had gone into boxing because he might have been something special.
