Yes, they just got away with murder. Planting bombs in public places is what made them terrorists. People who murder one person at a time are generally labeled murderers, now if an abortion foe began a campaign of bombing clinics that would be terrorism. I love that you're demonstrating a willingness to defend Ayers and Dohrn who make no bones about being "guilty as sin" and bombing the Pentagon among other things. If a court releases KSM, will you be as tolerant of that terrorist?
