Besides, I named only the companies that still exist and developed fairly recently. You included companies like Compaq that are long gone ( part of HP actually and Compaq's campus is very much still here a few miles away from me) and companies like DELL and TI that have been around for a while. Don't forget MSFT is based in Seattle. (Lets see Dell and TI don't count cause they've been around awhile unlike MSFT which you must think is brand spanking new? )

Uh......I didn't mention MSFT until you mentioned TI, Compaq and Dell.
