Tom, i've been watching the posts in Usenet for both Riven and
ZGI. Zork is getting alot more posts than riven is,the tide is starting to change though, some folks have finished Zork in 3 days!!.
I'm going to buy it today also, give it a shot. A recent post
i read in Usenet said Heavy Gear will be released middle/late Nov.
there's going to be no competition,Earthseige 3 is delayed ti'll
next spring, so Heavy Gear will be all on it's own.
The hype and anticipation is already building for HG,it looks like
we have a winner.
I still hope we don't get bought out, EA would be great though
as a buyer. I'd have to sell my shares of ATVI though, i wouldn't
want to be an EA shareholder. There's just not enough upside owning
EA stock, it would be great to hold in a IRA. I'm like you, i
like having the companys i own pay for my entertainment.

Alex

Hello Tom,

Let's not count our chickens before they are hatched. Rumors like this go around all the time, if you read Next Generation's article carefully, it does not say ANYTHING on fact/evidence.

Don't TRADE on rumors.. learned that lesson a long time ago.

ATVI will do well though, Quake2, HexenII, Zork, and Heavy Gear was going to do very well this Christmas.

I also just bought some Broderbund two days ago. (BROD)'s Riven is a sure fire hit getting rave reviews. Could be another Myst, which might propel that stock into the 70's like Myst did before.
