I watched two hours of Marine Corps cold weather training the other night. I was particularly interested in this because, in my time, as a construction surveyor, I spent a summer at this location in the building of a dam for their water supply. I was glad I didn't have to undergo the winter training as it was brutal. 38 people (one woman) started and only about 22 of them finished, including the woman. Each one lost between 10 and 23 pounds over the 2 week course.
