GeneM:

I guess I don't understand you.

How are your following two comments compatible?
(1) " When I play NASDAQ stks. I will never give up more than 5% on a spread, no matter how much I like the trend."
and
(2) "I ... make a play, with a tight (2-3%) stop."

If you're giving up to 5% on the spread, how you can keep it below 3% on the stop order?

Thanks in advance,

Ivan

Gene-

Thanks for the response. I've been using 20 and 50 day MA's and not getting clear signals, at least for daytrades. I'll try your recommendations and let you know how it works out.
