Re: Smart phones or Windows CE

Let's see. Put your money with Bill Gates or the RBOCs. Hmmmm...a real toughie, that.

Looking forward to Wednesday in any event.

Rex, to avoid confusion let me get this straight : Greg says that SanDisk Corp. and Siemens AG, along with some of the world's largest
telecommunications companies (!!!) will introduce a 3.5" cell phone card (I assume GSM phone cards as well since the GSM market is bigger than the cellular market) for use on all existing computers.

Then people start saying it will be great to use that on your Windows CE HPC, I say "great" but how possible with a 3.5" Card? If that's true they're gonna have to make it also as a PCMCIA type II and smaller given HPC's small size.

I remain perplex, though upbeat. I'm eager to learn the details.

Kind Regards,

Jerome

PS I could be late in sending you my ideas for the write-up, indeed we know too much, now I have to keep what's useful and meaningful.
