We still haven't discovered life on other planets... "The states don't vary nearly as much in the factor we're talking about measuring even if you look at them in isolation, and the real difference is even smaller than such a look would seem to indicate since much of the taxation and regulation which people in the US face comes from the federal level and is common to all states. " If the states don't vary much, why do you and yours (RW)always make reference to red and blue states? Do you mean red states have as much government as blue? At what point does the economy of scale come into your equation? Why have 50 bureaucracies instead of just one....why allow 50 bunches of politicians distribute the money after the government has distributed it....another middle man to skim the milk....
