I thought it was very funny when he talked about how President Roosevelt had gone on TV to calm the American people after the stock market crash of 1929. That's first class loopiness, for sure. But he can also speak quite intelligently on a number of important issues. I don't think you can say the same for Palin. And Bachmann is close to being a complete nutjob. She says a lot of loopy things that she really means. That makes a big difference. - Allen
