Well, not really. I liked the Pickens plan for wind energy and natural gas cars, but ultimately, I think the solution is the electrification of the transportation sector with abundant electricity coming from wind, solar, wave, geothermal, and nuclear power sources. That future requires more than Pickens. It will require Congress, the President, and industry getting behind the plans. Over the longer run, the country that gets there fastest will reap most of the rewards. I want that to be the US, not China.
