I mention Pickens because his plan is just a start, but it is the most pragmatic out there.

Well, there is a big problem. Pickens is "in it" for the money. We can't have that.

I want that to be the US, not China.

LOL. I can't believe he said that. It isn't like China has the slightest interest.

Although, as a stockholder, I was pleased to see CREE putting a plant in China. But I have a feeling they're at least as interested in American markets as they are Chinese ones.

China is on the forefront of anything they think will make them money. Going green is a big bucks industry already and it will grow ten fold over the next 10 years. China is not foolish when it comes to making money.

The US, it turns out, is exceedingly foolish. We're still debating about whether we want to take the lead in this massive growth industry or not. Go figure.
