What the Laffer clowns ALWAYS cite is Kennedy's tax cut, that actually DID increase revenues. He cut the top marginal rate from 91% to 70%!

Rates today are historically LOW:

According to Laffer, any rate ABOVE 50% cut to below that is supposed to increase revenues:


The infamous "Laffer Curve" - simplistic, isn't it? BELOW 50%, cutting rates DECREASES revenues! So, revenue-wise, the OPTIMUM rate is 50%!
