Wednesday: Some poor smuck fell compelled to buy 600 shares of XOM this morning in the premarket and paid dearly. He paid $75.52 at 7:33 AM EST and yes that was quite a bit higher than yesterday's high of the day - $75.16 and even much more higher than yesterday's closing price $75.03. Perhaps he was covering a short position ? I have no idea what drives others to pay more than market, perhaps they were just being generous I';; never understand...but I love the liquidity of this stock.
