And even Keynes actually admitted it in a backhanded sort of way (that you could raise taxes to a point that revenues began to go DOWN, rather than up). More recent research has shown the Laffer curve to be factual. I'm not sure why you would call it "running for cover" unless you just do so out of ignorance.
