"Price reductions obviously reduce margins"

No kidding. What an insight. Incredible. Bravissimo.

"margins should be maintained unless Intel encounters unexpected (SIC!) competition from AMD and/or Cyrix"

What an insight. And that word probable!!! So scientific and authoritative. And totally full of you know what. And that word "unexpected".

What did you forget everything you've been posting here?

Go back and read what all the people you were insulting were telling you and try eating your sliderule with those Intel chips.

Unexpected competition!!! What a riot.

PAUL
Thanks for the past several responses on what is going to drive earnings in 1998 . It has help clarify that even if sales do not increase ( by the way not likely ) that earnings should be help by cost reductions on the .25 process to help keep margins healthy.

THANKS AGAIN PAUL

BEST WISHES
BILL
