Thanks. Labor in China and other Asian countries costs virtually
nothing, perhaps, 3-5% of retail price for chit sold at
Wallmart. And the mark up still makes most of the retail
price, perhaps, 2/3 of it. So, there is no way out. In the
old days (1990-s) we crashed their currencies to get labor
costs down. Now we are simply Royally screwed. Even high
tech is made in China, the iphone. They also own far more
modern manufacturing facilities. Ah, the years of bubble
and neglect.
