Core buildings are not new. The first one I worked on here in Chicago was in 1984, so maybe the World Trade was made around the same time. They stick the elevators in the core. Floor beams are welded to the core at steel embeds that are poured in as the core rises. Aside from the actual specs, I've built enough of these and scraped off enough insulation to add beams and whatnot that I can think of a bunch of ways a fire like that could weaken bolted or welded connections. If someone really wanted to figure it out they could. Get the prints, add up all the weight above those floors. Once floor beams start cutting loose you've got a shock load situation that would be highly unlikely to have been engineered into the design.

I think you are referring to what is called liquifaction. Common in earthquakes. But I believe that the foundations of the high rises in the area are sunk into the bedrock, so they wouldn't be subjected to liquifaction if he did in fact exist.

but the key to what you said is that there is no way that the explosives could have been brought into the buildings with nobody noticing and then set up and detonated. If the government put the explanations out that the 9/11 truthers do, they would be laughed at by pretty much everyone due to the absurdity.
