I never said Californians tend to take the high road. They don't. Someone gave them a shot at lower taxes and they went for it hook, line and sinker. Now they are paying the piper and they don't like it. They threw Gray Davis out of office and now they are getting rid of Arnold. The state's a mess thanks to two wingers from back in the 1970s. Think maybe spending could be too high? About Prop 13 and the resistance to liberals perennial solution - higher taxes: Does CA have a conservative Republican majority that is rejecting higher taxes? Or is it pretty much everyone except the far leftwingers?
