RE: Lastly, I very much appreciated receiving a phone call back from a high level executive in response to my inquiry. This goes a long way.
Would you ever buy stock in a company (to hold over night) without talking to a high level executive? I wouldn't even think of it (i'm 14 and i spoke to the CFO of Boeing for about half a hour last week and with his concent recorded his response to 15 questions.)

A fool and his money.......

Last quarter was 0.02, right?
No surprise, to be ahead this quarter.

"I spoke with Bernie Schneider, V.P. of Strategic Business Development today. I took very precise notes during the call so as to avoid any embellishment of his comments in this forum ..."

I am impressed by the contributions made by some of the regulars on this thread. Guys like Maverick, Gary Korn, Style Pts, Larry... all of whom seem to spend a good deal of effort and time to keep us informed. Much appreciated! norm

I also heard from a friend in the sale/marketing saying the same.

A: None that I can discuss. Added that the major Telco's are not as open in allowing
press releases.>>>>>>>

Thats an interesting answer, It sounds like there are major deals pending?

"A: The current quarter is ahead of last quarter (Q3) at this time."

What does this mean? Last Aug. Asnd reported 2 cents for July of 3rd Q. This could mean anything above 2 cents for Oct. Does it mean 3 or 4 cents for Oct., or does it mean 10 cents for Oct. The statement is essentially meaningless. The only thing we know from the statement is that Oct. earnings are greater than 2 cents. If 2, it is horribly negative, if 10, it is very positive. More doublespeak.

LJ,
Good job on that call report. We need more of that and less wailing and finger pointing on this forum.

Regarding the above excerpt from your conversation synopsis with Schneider, an individual at AOL asked this question:

"Do [you] know exactly how much? Thanks."

I suspect the V.P. would not be able to answer such specifics, but in case I am mistaken, would you care to comment, Larry?
