Style,

More on copyright. Though it is near impossible to enforce copyright protection without taking the appropriate preliminary steps (e.g., including that little c in a circle by your work), a copyright is created as a matter of law any time you put something down on paper or, in this case, down on the SI thread. You own the copyright to your work, not SI. I suppose SI owns a copyright to the compilation of posts, but not to your own individual post (and not to anything I might post, as to which you have free license to reuse as you wish with or without attribution).

I do find it amusing, though, that I'm now being attacked on the AOL thread without even being there. They must know I'm a lawyer and have taken the opportunity to vent. Oh well, at least I pay AOL $14.95/month to help it defray the cost of setting up these boards on which we can be attacked. <G>

Style, why are you fooling with the AOL board. I browse it
occasionally but it is not worth much, IMO.
