Nobody wants to buy a losing stock before the weekend. I never
thought I would be saying this but I think the tide may be turning.

Tim,

Nice point. Most all of the networkers were up today (except poor SHVA), so perhaps the sector will stop falling as a whole and start to turn up.

So what do you think about these insider sales? San Jose Mercury essentially says it means that insiders couldn't sell while talks were in progress but can now since the talks failed. I don't believe this to be true under the law, but there you have it.

What remains significant to me is the addition of Masunis (M&A experience is tops on his list) and a CFO (can't remember his name) whose companies get bought out time and again.

The sudden insider sales into a very down networking sector just don't make sense either, not when these execs know full well that 4Q sales are going to beat 3Q and that upgrades are coming. Something gives.
