Bush is history. He did what he was capable of doing and the American people have themselves to blame for having elected him once in 2004. Obama has started on the right path to win the hearts and minds. He has been humble. Bowing, apologizing for America's arrogance and displaying a sincere willingness to work with the other nations of the world are some examples winning the accolades of other nations. I anticipate that Taliban would soon be brought to the table of nations and they will be forced to change their ways. Let us not forget that America today is on its knees. Its dollar in shambles. Even countries like India and Madagascar are rolling in money and are abandoning the dollar to buy gold. However, American people continue to have the indomitable spirit and with Obama's leadership this nation will rise again. Let the Republicans continue to self-destruct and let them take Lieberman with them.

Bush and Cheney wanted to go into Iraq, but it seems to me that EVERYBODY should have wanted to go into Afghanistan. The Europeans aren't going to take the lead because we've been their "ATM" since WWII. We pay all the money and we provide all the troops. This would be an "excellent" time for us to tell the Europeans that we can't keep paying for everything anymore. WHY do we have to have troops in Germany? The Germans have a lot of people and a very large economy. We are the policeman for the world and we can no longer afford it. We can still be the "main" cops, but these other guys should have to start manning their own local police stations.
